HeartString Babys Companion evolved from a simple concept: Babies like to tug and chew on anything they can touch. In a world full of hazards (keys, metal jewelry, glasses, watches etc.), we designed HeartString to be a touchable, tuggable product for your baby and a wearable accessory for you. With many colours from which to choose, our safe and non-toxic product can be used as a breastfeeding and parenting aid that includes Dad, siblings and grandparents!

HeartString Babys CompanionTM is a versatile accessory used by breastfeeding moms and concerned infant caregivers. Initially conceived to be a purposeful distraction while bottle feeding, breastfeeding or holding a baby, the HeartString Companions has also been designed to support bonding, ease caregiver transfers and include a male figure. With the infant in mind, the HeartString Companions is safe, non-toxic and unbreakable, acting as a tactile and visual aid to soothe baby and to encourage cognitive development.

Stimulating Design... The pendants form with its dips, thumbprint and button dot are designed to be soothing, stimulating and to become familiar to the touch. The pendant is also durable, pliable, dishwasher safe and can be sterilized a number of times.

Safe... Much care was taken in selecting non-toxic, medical-grade polymer plastics with suitable textures. They do NOT contain BPA, Phalates, PVC, Lead or Latex. HeartString has two interesting textures and fun colour contrasts and are more environmentally friendly than many other products. We do not use silicone to assure more detail, a rigid core (cannot bend to get lodged in mouth) and a pliable smooth outer shape.

The organic cotton lanyard is also non-toxic, washable and soft to the babys touch. Cotton, with low tendency to cause allergic reactions, allows caregivers to sleep while wearing the pendant and babys to be safe from dyes and colour processing chemicals.

Though the product is designed to fit adults and to attach like a necklace, it will also detach by use of specialized safety connectors in the unlikely event that a child becomes tangled or pulls sharply. This measured safety feature may also widen the market to children with specials needs.
